I'm not usually a big fan of gratuitous photo manipulation, but this was such an interesting effect that I had to try it out myself. For such a simple trick that only takes a couple easy steps it really gives completely a new and unique perspective.

For those who don't know, this effect is usually referred to as tilt-shift photography. It makes everyday scenes seem as if they were actually photos of miniature models. This can be done with a special lens or in post-processing.
